Porsche presents the new 911 (type 991) Turbo and Turbo S Cabriolet. 

Porsche will present to the public on November 20th 2013  the cabriolet version of the new 991 Turbo. The powertrain of the coupe version are unchanged. The 3.8 litre flat-six engine puts out 520 hp in the Turbo, and 560 in the Turbo S model. The 0-100 km/h acceleration times are claimed at 3.5s and 3.2s respectively, while top speed is rated at 318 km/h. Combined gas consumption is 9.9 L/100km, corresponding to 231 g/km of CO2 emissions. The PDK twin clutch gearbox is part of standard equipment, as well as PTM permanent four wheel drive, an ingredient of the Turbo recipe since the 993 series. The four wheel steering system is also part of the package.

The body features the same broad rear wings as the Turbo coupe, wider than the Carrera 4 body by 28mm. The foldable soft roof utilizes the same magnesium structure as the Carrera Cabriolet and requires only 13 seconds to close or open at speeds of up to 50 km/h. The Turbo S Cabriolet version is also differentiated through special equipment, including an exclusive two-tone black/Carrera red interior, 18-way adjustable adaptive sport seats with memory functoin, leather covered seat shells and carbon inserts. The Bose audio system is also standard equipment on the Turbo S, while a Burmester system is offered as an option.

Both models will be launched on the market in December 2013. In Germany, the Turbo Cabriolet list price is set at  174’431€, while the Turbo S will be priced at 207’989€. in Switzerland, prices are CHF 241’100 and CHF 287’800 respectively.
