BMW M4 Concept

BMW presents today the Motorsport version of the 3 series coupe (type F82 and promoted 4 series) as a near production-ready “Concept”.

The official press release only provides scarce useful information. Alloy rims are 20 inches in diameter. Le roof, front splitter and rear diffuser are made of carbon fiber (CFRP or Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic in fancy terms), and the fenders showcase the new interpretation of the seminal Motorsport air vent. The bonnet features the trademark power dome – that is indeed how it is called in ///M speak, but there is no information as to which powerplant is nested underneath.

All that is left for now is to lust on the design details shown in this video while we wait for BMW to release more details.
