Splendors of classic and contemporary automobiles in the unique setting of the Lake Como shores.

Every year, May affords automotive enthusiasts the opportunity to admire magnificant classic automobiles in the luxurious setting of Lake Como. Organized by the BMW Group, the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este is one of the unavoidable rendez-vous on the classic car circuit.

The competitors are split in 9 classes:

– CLASS A: FLAMBOYANCE IN MOTION
– CLASS B: ANTIDEPRESSANTS
– CLASS C: PHANTOM STORY
– CLASS D: MADE TO MEASURE
– CLASS E: GENTLEMEN’S RACERS
– CLASS F: HOLLYWOOD ON THE LAKE
– CLASS G: GT MAN HAS ARRIVED
– CLASS H: HOW FAST IS FAST ENOUGH
– CLASS I: TWO SEATS AGAINST THE STOPWATCH

For this 2015 edition, the Coppa d’Oro trophy was awarded to this 1950 Ferrari 166MM:

This prestigious gathering draws also contemporaneous coachbuilders and specialty manufacturers as unique venue to present their concepts and commissions. This year’s array included Touring Superleggera, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus, Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Zagato or BMW with its 3.0 CSL Hommage.
