Aston Martin presents this special edition of the V8 Vantage S inspired by the brand’s involvement in the GT4 racing series, and in particular the namesake SP10 class in the VLN race series taking place on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The SP10 is therefore a V8 Vantage S equipped with a six gear manual gearbox, the 7 gear Sportshift II variant remains available as an option. The 4.7 liter V8 still achieves a peak torque of 490 Nm and a 436 hp maximum power, these figures are unchanged from the standard model. The sport exhaust system with active bypass valves was developped specifically for this model.
Available in coupe and roadster form, the SP10 adopts a distinctive Ceramic Grey Metallic paint finish, with exclusive 19 inch V-shaped rims with diamond finish over glossy black paint, and black brake calipers. The front splitter and rear diffuseur are made of carbon fiber. The SP10 special edition is available only in continental Europe and its base price in Switzerland, according to the press release, is CHF 117’895, before VAT and other applicable taxes.
