Marchionne continue sa mise à sac. Prochaine étape une 4C rebadgée en Ferrari avec 320CV pour 100K. Par la suite 30'000 F cars par an avec assemblage sur plusieurs sites. Enfin, ils feront ce qu'ils veulent. Je pense aussi qu'une nouvelle ère commence pour Ferrari. A chaque ère, le potentiel de prise de valeurs des modèles chute par dilussion de l'exclusivité.
Le retour d'une vraie Dino aurait été souhaitable comme brand, mais je n'y crois pas.

“I leave after 23 unforgettable years”

Maranello, 10th September 2014 – “Ferrari will have an important role to play within the FCA Group in the upcoming flotation on Wall Street. This will open up a new and different phase which I feel should be spearheaded by the CEO of the Group.

This is the end of an era and so I have decided to leave my position as Chairman after almost 23 marvellous and unforgettable years in addition to those spent at Enzo Ferrari’s side in the 1970s.

My thanks, first and foremost, to the exceptional Ferrari women and men from the factory, the offices, the race tracks and the markets across the world. They were the real architects of the company’s spectacular growth, its many unforgettable victories and its transformation into one of the world’s strongest brands.

A warm farewell and my thanks also to all of our technical and commercial partners, our dealers across the globe and, most particularly, the clients and collectors whose passion I so wholeheartedly share.

But my thoughts go also to our fans who have always supported us with great enthusiasm especially through the Scuderia’s most difficult moments.

Ferrari is the most wonderful company in the world. It has been a great privilege and honour to have been its leader. I devoted all of my enthusiasm and commitment to it over the years. Together with my family, it was, and continues to be, the most important thing in my life.

I wish the shareholders, particularly Piero Ferrari who has always been by my side, and everyone in the Company the many more years of success that Ferrari deserves.”

Luca Cordero di Montezemolo has announced his intention to resign as Chairman of Ferrari with effect from October 13th following completion of Ferrari’s celebration of 60 years in America.
Fiat CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will take over as Chairman of Ferrari.
Since 1991, Ferrari achieved significant results under Montezemolo’s chairmanship in terms of both financial performance and its standing in the world of racing. Under his leadership, Ferrari boasted a world-class team and numerous record-setting achievements.

“On behalf of my family and myself, I would like to thank Luca for all he has done for both Fiat and Ferrari”, said Fiat Chairman, John Elkann. He held several key positions with the Group, including serving as Chairman of Fiat from 2004 to 2010, and we shared many challenging but also rewarding moments. Luca leaves us with my most sincere and heartfelt wishes for his future professional endeavors and the hope, I am certain shared by us both, that Ferrari will return to victory very soon.”

Marchionne a réaffimé jeudi vouloir considérer la production de Ferrari de manière plus flexible, afin de répondre à la demande dans différents segments. Différentes publications ont mentionné différents modèles, Bloomberg citant la F12 et ANE la LaFerrari. Ceci fait écho aux déclarations de Marchionne au mois de Mai, voyant le potentiel de Ferrari à 10'000 exemplaires plutôt que les 7000 de LdM.

Je ne les vois pas ouvrir les vannes d'un jour à l'autre, la demande n'est de toute façon pas là. Mais le 180 degrés sera sans nul doute acté lors du prochain conseil d'administration de Ferrari.

Je veux bien que les médias français fassent ce genre d'erreur, mais R&T ?
LdM n'était pas CEO mais Chairman. Le CEO, c'est Amedeo Felisa, il est toujours là. Du moins pour l'instant.

Comprends pas non plus les math de Glickenhaus. 2000 LaFerrari = 2 billion to the bottom line ? On confond top line et bottom line ?

Intéressant, Marchionne semble donner raison à Jim Glickenhaus, les détails.

“If that class increases, we should be able to follow them,” Marchionne said today at an event in Balocco, Italy. Otherwise, “the waiting list will become too long, and people get tired.”

Toujours trouvé crétin de ne pas faire une new 246 GT à 150K€. L'usine vend plus de voitures sans forcément augmenter les volumes par modèle.

De plus, il reste à démonter que Ferrari soit au taquet, ce dont je doute. Les 7000 relevant du pipo marketing faisant croire que Ferrari pourrait vendre plus surtout que sa capacité de production semble très supérieure, suffit de constater les délais de livraison oscillant entre trois à quatre mois qui ne sont que les temps de fabrication d'un voiture en juste à temps pour ce segment de marché alors que pour une Huracan, dont la marque n'a jamais annoncé vouloir limiter les volumes on est à six mois. Et encore, cela dépend des pays .... Pour le coup Lamborghini a vraiment une capacité de production limitée, voulue ou pas. A l'époque de Todt, je me rappelle avoir lu une interview disant que l'usine était taillée pour une production annuelle de 10.000 voitures et que c'était l'objectif. Je crois surtout que ces dernières années Montezemolo voulait surtout rassurer les clients sur la cote de revente des modèles acquis neufs, celle-ci étant déterminée par l'équation offre-demande.

A la présentation de la "458 T", va-t-on nous refaire le sketch de la production vendue pour les 18 prochains mois ? Exception faite des gogos et de la ménagère de moins de cinquante ans je vois pas qui peut encore croire ce genre de discours. On peut aussi annoncer soixante mois, la durée de vie du modèle, cela revient au même, non ?

La marque de voitures de luxe rappelle 3082 véhicules de modèle 458 Sport aux États-Unis en raison d'un problème sur le système de fermeture intérieur. Il y aurait un risque que les passagers restent bloqués à l'intérieur, avance CNN .
